Sling the Mesh

Sling the Mesh (dir. Booker)

In this episode we interview the student team behind the short 2D film Sling the Mesh (dir. Booker) commissioned by Kath Sansom, founder of the pro-bono campaign of the same name. The intention is to help raise awareness of one of the biggest health scandals of our time; the use of plastic mesh implants which are often used as a cheap quick fix to treat women's abdominal and pelvic floor issues. The team discuss why they chose to work for such a taboo brief and where their ideas came from.
